Who Shows Up? Exploring The Parts of You That Show Up When Dating
Curious about how different aspects of yourself influence your dating life? Join us for an interactive workshop where we'll use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework to explore the various parts of yourself that shape your internal experience while dating. This class will include instruction, discussion, encouragement to draw and journal and a meditation to end the class. Participants will leave class with a better understanding of the "parts work" model and have an opportunity to explore the parts of themselves that show up when trying to make romantic connections with others in a safe, fun and friendly setting.
When: Friday, October 25th, 6-8pm
Taught: Amy Loeb
Amy Jane Loeb, LMSW is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating anxiety and PTSD. She primarily operates from an Internal Family Systems framework which asks individuals to to look at (and explore, and eventually develop a relationship with) the different parts of themselves that make up their emotional experience. Amy is passionate about sharing this approach with others and looks forward to exploring our "parts" that show up when dating with those who are courageous enough to take a look, incorporating humor along the way.
