Explore the traditional art of decorating eggs in the Ukrainian style known as Pysanky. The wax-resist process, similar to batik, uses a simple tool to apply wax to the shell of a fresh chicken egg, followed by multiple layers of colorful dyes. When the pattern is complete the wax is removed to reveal a beautiful design. Join Brandy and discover the magic of creating these small works of art. Learn about the history of this medium, see examples of her eggs.

She began teaching pysanky classes each spring to spread awareness of the Ukrainian traditions and keep the art form alive.
